About the role
- Deliver tax services including tax planning, consulting, and compliance for multiple clients in various industries
- Interact closely with clients and partners on tax matters and planning strategies
- Work with diverse teams and form relationships with middle to large-sized tax clients (Tax Interns)
- Assist audited clients to improve financial reporting, internal controls, and evaluate accounting issues
- Help assess quality of information for strategic decisions and identify areas to improve operating efficiencies (Audit Interns)
- Participate in on-the-job training and real-world accounting projects during Spring and Summer internship programs
- Complete group projects involving volunteering and social impact and engage in networking events and activities
Requirements
- Accounting Major
- 3.0 or higher GPA
- Understanding and applying excel skills
- Demonstrating exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required
- Working effectively and personably with clients and co-workers
