Key responsibilities & impact

You develop and optimize backend services in our tech stack (TypeScript, Node.js, Nest.js, Prisma ORM, PostgreSQL, ...)
You work in agile teams on the development of cloud-based platforms for our clients
You contribute to API specifications and the design of data models
You design and implement robust APIs and database schemas
You participate in the quality assurance process and write tests for your implementations
You use modern development tools and AI-assisted workflows to work efficiently

What you’ll need

Extensive backend experience in TypeScript/Node.js or Java (if you have a Java background: willingness to transition to TypeScript)
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
Understanding of relational databases (SQL, transactions, indexes, constraints)
Experience with API design (REST/HTTP, ideally also GraphQL)
Knowledge of frontend development with React (or a comparable framework)
Confident use of IDEs, the command line, and Git
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
At least 2+ years of professional experience in backend development (TypeScript/Node.js or Java)
Very good German and English language skills
Bonus: Experience with Nest.js and Prisma ORM
Practical experience with PostgreSQL
Knowledge of Google Cloud or comparable cloud platforms, including provisioning via Terraform
Experience with Next.js
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with NoSQL databases
