About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Co-lead product vision and design strategy alongside Product Managers and the data team
  • Define, track, and act on UX metrics such as task success rate, time on task, error rates, and behavioral signals
  • Proactively identify opportunities and propose product improvements grounded in user insights, metrics, and validated hypotheses
  • Collaborate with the data team to design A/B experiments and measure the impact of design decisions through evidence
  • Deliver high-quality design solutions supported by clear metrics frameworks and tracking plans
  • Navigate ambiguity with autonomy and initiative, defining scope, priorities, and timelines independently
  • Design intuitive, scalable, and visually polished user experiences across digital platforms
  • Use AI tools to increase efficiency, deepen research, support frontend shaping, and expand product design ownership
  • Contribute to defining and promoting AI standards and best practices within the design team
  • Participate actively in roadmap planning, sprint ceremonies, discovery sessions, and product strategy discussions
  • Collaborate closely with developers and engineers to ensure design feasibility and implementation quality
  • Guide workshops that align business goals, user needs, and product opportunities
  • Mentor UX/UI Designers on product thinking, design quality, and data-informed decision-making
  • Stay current with emerging UX/UI trends, technologies, AI capabilities, and design best practices
  • Support recruitment and hiring processes through portfolio reviews, technical evaluations, and interviews
  • Advocate for user-centered design and continuous improvement across the organization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Interface Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Service Design, Graphic Design with emphasis in UX, or equivalent certification
  • 4–6+ years of experience designing digital products and interfaces
  • At least 1–2 years demonstrating strong product thinking and data-informed decision-making
  • Strong experience designing end-to-end user experiences for web and/or mobile products
  • Demonstrated ability to define, track, and interpret UX KPIs and connect them to user and business outcomes
  • Experience influencing product backlogs through data-backed design proposals and validated hypotheses
  • Strong collaborative product mindset, working effectively with Product Managers, developers, engineers, and data teams
  • Experience designing and interpreting A/B experiments and usability validation initiatives
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including design systems, tokens, scalable components, and file governance
  • Strong understanding of UX research, interaction design, visual design, accessibility, and usability principles
  • Full autonomy and self-direction, with the ability to define scope, prioritize work, and manage timelines independently
  • Systems-oriented and strategic problem-solving mindset
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with Product Design frameworks such as Lean UX or Continuous Discovery
  • Well-grounded technical foundation, including frontend concepts, databases, APIs, and cloud architecture
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to extend design capabilities beyond traditional design workflows
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI outputs for quality, bias, and usability considerations
  • Experience mentoring or guiding other designers is a plus
  • Highly proficient written and spoken English (C1 or higher) and Spanish.
