About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Your own participants: You mentor assigned participants, know their strengths, identify where they’re stuck, and actively guide them through the course
- 1:1 mentoring: You hold regular sessions with participants — not one-size-fits-all, but tailored to their current level and challenges
- Code review & assignment checks: You provide honest, constructive feedback on submitted assignments and help build and expand real coding skills
- Documentation: You record progress and session content so nothing is lost and the learning path remains transparent
- Curriculum optimization: You provide feedback on learning materials and help improve them
- Team collaboration: You are part of a committed education team and exchange weekly with other mentors and experts about participants and course content
Requirements
What you’ll need- You are enrolled as a student for at least one more year (requirement)
- You are available on average 15–20 hours per week (requirement)
- You are studying Computer Science, Business Informatics, Media Informatics or a comparable degree — or you are self-taught in programming and can demonstrate this with projects
- You have knowledge of Flutter & Dart
- You have experience with Git & GitHub and use them confidently
- You are familiar with common AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.)
- You are fluent in German and an excellent communicator
- You are empathetic and enjoy working with people
- You are highly organized
