About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate and maintain federated 3D models within Autodesk Forma, ensuring models are accurate, aligned, and meet APA's digital engineering standards
  • Partner with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate designs, resolve clashes, and support engineering project delivery
  • Support constructability reviews and model coordination to identify opportunities, reduce project risk, and improve delivery outcomes
  • Champion digital engineering by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Enable seamless digital handover into downstream operational systems such as Maximo and ECM

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in mechanical or piping design within the energy, utilities, industrial, or infrastructure sectors
  • Interest in multidisciplinary project delivery
  • Hands-on experience with Autodesk Plant 3D, including model development, project setup, and multidisciplinary coordination, is desirable
  • Working knowledge of creating, maintaining, and updating Autodesk Spec Editor, Report Creator, or similar digital engineering tools
  • Understanding of BIM, Common Data Environments, model coordination, and digital engineering principles across the project lifecycle
  • Collaborative and curious approach
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Passion for delivering high-quality outcomes while continuously learning and improving
  • Must be eligible to work in Australia
  • Subject to background vetting, including Police checks, before and during employment
