About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure the safe, reliable and compliant operation of electrical systems and Type B gas appliances through planned inspections, maintenance and testing
  • Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance activities, including fault finding, repairs and component replacements
  • Provide technical support to engineering and project teams
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support the optimisation of asset performance
  • Participate in an on-call roster to respond to operational issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Hold an unrestricted A Grade Electrical Licence
  • Type B Gas Appliance Licence (Plumbing)
  • Current Victorian Driver Licence
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining, fault finding and repairing electrical equipment and Type B gas appliances in an industrial or operational environment
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Additional qualifications such as a Certificate IV in Instrumentation and Control, Hazardous Area electrical qualifications or an Advanced Type B Gas Appliance Licence will be highly regarded
