About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with our product and engineering teams to develop, test, and continuously optimize tax logics and use cases
  • Co-develop new solutions with the founders and our clients, or expand existing tax products in a targeted manner
  • Use your expertise and passion for all things tax to translate technical subject-matter requirements into technical requirements and support the technical implementation in our product

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong understanding of German income tax law and ideally exposure to other tax types (capital gains tax, trade tax, VAT)
  • Ongoing or completed studies in tax law, business law, or administrative law – or vocational training within the tax administration
  • Practical experience, particularly in the area of income tax
  • Detail-oriented and highly self-driven – you carry projects from idea to implementation without losing sight of the details
  • Enjoy working in a strong, ambitious team that challenges each other and grows together
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
