About the role

  • Develop and maintain electrical basis of design and technical specifications for power distribution
  • Review and approve electrical design packages from partners and consultants
  • Perform engineering studies and analyses for design decisions
  • Partner with external teams to improve construction efficiency and productization
  • Evaluate electrical equipment vendors and build a diversified vendor base
  • Drive standardization of electrical designs across sites
  • Influence industry specifications for high-density electrical infrastructure
  • Provide technical oversight during construction and commissioning phases

Requirements

  • 8+ years of electrical engineering experience in mission-critical facilities
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field; PE licensure valued but not required
  • Hands-on experience with electrical construction documents, single-line diagrams, and equipment specifications
  • Proficient in power systems analysis and tools like SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower
  • Understanding of critical power topologies (2N, N+1, distributed redundant, block redundant)
  • Direct experience with electrical equipment manufacturers
  • Ability to communicate with technical peers and non-specialist stakeholders
  • Results-oriented attitude with a willingness to take on various responsibilities
