About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks
  • Write efficient, reliable, and maintainable automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend services using Java-based frameworks
  • Build and enhance test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium or Selenide
  • Support manual testing efforts where necessary, especially for exploratory, usability, or edge-case scenarios
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous feedback and quality checks
  • Perform root cause analysis for failed tests and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in test automation
  • Strong programming skills in Java / Python
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, PyTest, etc.
  • Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or RestAssured
  • Experience with test reporting tools like Allure
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, automation strategy and processes
  • Nice to have: Experience with performance, load, or security testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
