About the role

  • Leading the conception, design and further development of modern, user-centered HMI interfaces
  • Defining design and usability guidelines
  • Creating HMI concepts
  • Managing feedback and implementation specifications
  • Planning and specifying work packages within the HMI development process
  • Overseeing implementation by external development partners and conducting acceptance reviews
  • Independently adjusting HMI interfaces
  • Providing technical support to project managers and systems engineers
  • Actively contributing to the improvement of development culture, processes, efficiency and innovation capability

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent qualification
  • Professional experience in software development
  • Experience in web development with HTML and JavaScript
  • Ideally, experience in HMI development with Qt
  • Strong command of object-oriented programming in C++ and/or experience in PLC programming (CODESYS, TwinCAT)
  • Experience in technical coordination of external development partners
  • Structured working style and strong communication skills
  • Quality-oriented and professionally flexible working approach
  • Willingness to dive into the exciting field of submarines and to take on responsibility
