Safety Coordinator – UG Mining

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical safety support to employees and contractors
- Assist the Safety & Health team to develop, implement and monitor the Integrated Safety Management System and OHS Management Plan
- Conduct research and recommend safety programs based on new findings
- Review safety performance and recommend programs to monitor compliance with safety practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–7 years exposure to large-scale Mining Management Systems
- Tertiary Safety Qualification – Certificate / Diploma / Degree or equivalent Safety (NEBOSH, IOSH, SAMTRAC/SHEMTRAC, Chamber of Mine Safety)
- Management qualification (SDP)
- NOSHC one & two
- First Aid Certificate or Occupational First Aid
- Accident/Incident Investigation course work
- Current Drivers Licence
