About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support IT development project contract reviews and resourcing agreements within DDaT frameworks
- Provide cost and commercial expert input into contractual negotiations, evaluation and lessons-learned activities
- Support contract administration, cost capture, and challenge cost estimates and change requests
- Assure supplier cost and performance reporting, dashboards and KPIs
- Support assurance, audit activity and contract compliance across DDaT frameworks
- Identify opportunities to improve, streamline or automate cost control and reporting processes
- Support the Purchase Orders process and activity resilience across the wider Commercial Team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong understanding of cost analysis, commercial and contract management principles
- Experience supporting cost control, contract management or framework governance
- Ability to analyse cost data to identify risks, trends and improvement opportunities
- Confidence working with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to challenge constructively
- Highly organised and able to deliver quality outputs to tight deadlines
- Comfortable working autonomously while contributing effectively within a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and reporting tools
