About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of Anglian Water’s diverse inventory of mobile plant
- Ensuring all items of mobile plant are serviced and inspected in line with the company, manufacturer and Health and Safety criteria and schedules
- Maintaining sufficient stock of service parts on your van and/or at your aligned workshop
- Repairing defects reported by the business users of plant items
- Understanding and demonstrating knowledge of business priorities to offer a fast and efficient repair service
- Establish and form relationships with local parts and service providers
- Keeping the fleet management system updated with the hours you have worked, and parts/stock used logged
Requirements
What you’ll need- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience in Light Vehicle Maintenance
- Confident user of IT
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- Ability to work autonomously and use your own initiative
- Full Manual UK driving license is essential
