Operational Administrator
Anglian Water ServicesOperational Administrator at Isleham Water Treatment Works, handling administration and procurement for operational teams. Supporting the delivery of clean water services in the region.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support and assist the efficient running of the operational teams
- Undertake crucial administration and procurement support for the office
- Order chemicals, PPE, equipment & materials for the supply team
- Manage invoices, delivery notes, and credit card reconciliation
- Raise and issue Purchase orders
- Handle telephone calls and manage meeting rooms
- Take minutes occasionally
- Update employee training and organise electronic and paper filing systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience as an administrator, ideally within a similar operational industry
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong communication skills to pro-actively liaise with various stakeholders
- IT literate and advanced user of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong numeracy skills
- Experience with data handling and spreadsheet preparation
