About the role

  • Identify requirements and handle the processing and issuance of requests for quotation, purchase orders and forecast orders
  • Monitor delivery dates and optimize inventory levels
  • Plan, control and monitor material movements and stock levels to ensure optimal supply for production
  • Prepare, conduct and follow up on price negotiations
  • Select, evaluate and maintain supplier relationships
  • Manage complaints and resolve delivery or quality issues
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure uninterrupted supply
  • Maintain master data (items, prices, terms and conditions)
  • Check and process invoices

Requirements

  • You have completed commercial training or hold a degree in business administration
  • Initial professional experience is desirable but not required
  • You are interested in medical products
  • Confident use of MS Office applications
  • Quick to grasp new topics and able to work in a structured and independent manner
  • You have strong organisational skills, enjoy working in a team and possess excellent communication skills
