About the role
- Identify requirements and handle the processing and issuance of requests for quotation, purchase orders and forecast orders
- Monitor delivery dates and optimize inventory levels
- Plan, control and monitor material movements and stock levels to ensure optimal supply for production
- Prepare, conduct and follow up on price negotiations
- Select, evaluate and maintain supplier relationships
- Manage complaints and resolve delivery or quality issues
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure uninterrupted supply
- Maintain master data (items, prices, terms and conditions)
- Check and process invoices
Requirements
- You have completed commercial training or hold a degree in business administration
- Initial professional experience is desirable but not required
- You are interested in medical products
- Confident use of MS Office applications
- Quick to grasp new topics and able to work in a structured and independent manner
- You have strong organisational skills, enjoy working in a team and possess excellent communication skills
