About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify new customers and lending opportunities with property investors and referral partners.
- Drive sales and build relationships with property investors, brokers, and real estate agents.
- Cultivate borrower relationships through meetings, calls, emails, and other communication channels.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for customer issues and roadblocks.
- Develop and maintain a client database in the CRM.
- Attend industry events and conferences to find and convert leads.
- Evaluate transactions, size deals, and create quotes and term sheets.
- Facilitate borrower approval by collecting and providing required information.
- Pre-qualify loan packages and obtain initial borrower documentation.
- Monitor pipeline reports and resolve potential loan problems.
- Grow the Anchor brand through blog posts, online posts, reposts, and marketing strategies.
- Maintain transparent customer communication about submitted-loan status.
- Partner with Valuations, Construction, and Underwriting leaders to prioritize pipelines and resolve roadblocks.
- Track industry and competitor trends to inform product, sales, and pricing decisions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must reside in the Eastern Region; target states include GA, MA, NJ, and PA, plus big metropolitan cities.
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage time in a remote environment.
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
- Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable with outbound communication involving mostly cold leads.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new procedures and systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as a dependable teammate in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Highly self-motivated and disciplined.
- Experience with CRM is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
