About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct technical analyses and supervision activities of the distribution of investment products, focusing on participant institutions' compliance with the ANBIMA Distribution Code.
Critically and rigorously evaluate the processes adopted by banks, broker-dealers and distributors (DTVMs), with particular attention to:
application of the suitability process;
preparation and disclosure of advertising and informational materials;
mitigation and management of conflicts of interest;
transparency and adequacy of information provided to investors.
Perform detailed document reviews of policies, procedures, internal reports, offering materials and other evidence submitted by supervised institutions.
Prepare technical reports and executive presentations, consolidating findings, critical analyses, conclusions and recommendations arising from supervisory activities.
Act as the technical point of contact with participating and member institutions, including requests for clarifications, analysis of responses and follow-up on corrective measures taken.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Previous experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Distribution or structuring of investment products;
- Compliance, audit or internal controls related to distribution activities;
- Supervision, regulation or self-regulation of the financial market.
Technical knowledge of the characteristics, risks and functioning of investment products, including:
- Fixed income;
- Investment funds;
- COE (structured products);
- Products traded on organized markets.
Knowledge of rules applicable to the distribution of investment products, with focus on:
- Suitability;
- Role and conduct of investment advisors;
- Rules for the preparation and disclosure of advertising materials.
Excellent critical analytical skills for reviewing data and documentation.
Strong report-writing ability for technical reports and opinions, with clarity, concision and technical rigor.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to structure analyses, syntheses and presentations for different audiences.
