About the role

  • Develop and maintain applications using Java (preferably recent versions), Spring Boot and related tools.
  • Implement unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
  • Participate in performance analysis, code quality reviews and deployment preparation.
  • Support user acceptance testing and propose technical improvements for application evolution.
  • Integrate systems and databases and ensure application security.
  • Collaborate in an agile environment, participating in planning, retrospectives and technical alignment meetings.
  • Communicate clearly and objectively with the team and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with SQL, especially PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with version control tools (Git/GitLab).
  • Basic knowledge of integration with AWS services (S3, SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB).
  • Understanding of REST APIs and microservices.
  • Plus: experience with Docker, CI/CD and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Liquibase, Lombok, Maven, Swagger/OpenAPI.
  • Experience developing unit and integration tests.
  • Education and certifications: Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field (completed or in progress). Certifications in agile methodologies, backend development or cloud are a plus.
