About the role
- Execute and monitor operational routines, primarily focused on production and secondarily on staging (pre-production);
- Create automation and orchestration scripts using a job scheduler tool;
- Perform backup and restore routines;
- Implement changes in staging and production environments;
- Execute the Business Continuity Plan (BCP);
- Respond to incidents and participate in crisis management;
- Provide Level 1 support and escalate to Level 2 teams;
- Communicate the execution of the main events of the day;
- Track and record activities in ticketing/incident management tools;
- Create and maintain technical procedures documentation;
- Support the implementation of information security policies and physical and logical access control;
- Provide support to development and infrastructure teams;
- Maintain Data Center infrastructure;
Requirements
- Education - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology;
- Experience executing and monitoring daily operational routines on high- and low-availability platforms;
- Experience in IT Operations/Infrastructure and mission-critical systems;
- Experience with job scheduler tools (Control-M);
- Experience in incident, problem, change and capacity management and ITSM tools;
- Experience administering and updating Linux operating systems (RHEL) and Windows Server;
- Basic knowledge of JBoss applications, OpenShift and containers, and IT services (DNS, Active Directory);
- Automation languages (Python, Shell) and integration scripting.
