About the role
- Preparing construction documents
- Design of site and infrastructure improvements including grading, utilities, erosion control, stormwater management, and site layout
- Preparation of calculations and reports
- Site inspections and construction administration duties
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 2-5 years of experience in the planning and civil engineering design of mixed use, residential, commercial, institutional, and public site development projects.
- Primary experience in the District of Columbia and/or Suburban Maryland and NOVA preferred
- PE preferred
- Ability to prepare plans, specifications and cost estimates
- Ability to assist with the preparation of engineering studies and reports
- Technical proficiency in using AutoCAD including Civil 3D and/or Microstation
