About the role
- Assisting the project manager and supporting engineering staff in the preparation of construction documents, design of site and infrastructure improvements including grading, utilities, erosion control, and storm water management
- Preparation of design calculations and reports
- Processing construction and permit documents through the regulatory agencies
- Interact with Clients
- Construction support services including site inspections and construction administration duties.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in the planning and civil engineering design of mixed use, residential, commercial, institutional, and public site development projects.
- BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- EIT Required, PE preferred
- Ability to prepare plans, specifications and cost estimates
- Ability to assist with the preparation of engineering studies and reports
- Technical proficiency in using AutoCAD including Civil 3D required
