As a Full Stack Software Engineer with a focus on backend development, you are part of an agile, cross-functional development team that analyzes customer requirements, develops innovative solutions, and implements them using state-of-the-art cloud technologies.
In our self-organized development teams you analyze complex customer requirements from the automotive sector and, in coordination with your team members, design backend solutions.
You apply state-of-the-art technologies to develop sustainable and innovative cloud (AWS) software solutions built on a microservice architecture.
You independently implement user stories in one of our platform or feature teams and ensure high software quality through adequate testing of the developed software solutions.
You work in an agile team using Scrum and/or SAFe, collaboratively creating solutions.
Requirements
Broad perspective: within your team you won’t limit yourself to a single area such as frontend or backend, but take responsibility for development from A to Z — from infrastructure through front- and backend to testing.
Completed, relevant university/college degree in business administration/(business) informatics or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through many years of relevant professional experience and continuing education.
(Strong) knowledge of microservice architectures in the AWS Cloud, and experience with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Swagger/OpenAPI, REST, Docker, Jenkins and CI/CD is desirable.
Good knowledge of Java, Spring Boot and cloud-native applications.
General understanding of software architectures and interface design.
Agile mindset and familiarity with agile working methods (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
Enjoyment of innovation and creative problem solving.
Interest in technological and personal development.
Fluent German and English. Additional languages are an advantage.
Residence in Germany.
