Serve as the primary financial advisor to assigned business units, providing strategic insight, financial guidance, and performance analysis.
Collaborate with leadership to evaluate business initiatives, investment opportunities, and cost optimization strategies.
Translate financial data into actionable recommendations to support operational and strategic goals.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for business units.
Prepare variance analyses, identify key drivers of performance, and recommend corrective actions.
Develop financial models to assess scenarios, profitability, and ROI on business decisions.
Oversee accounting processes related to assigned business areas, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Manage and review the monthly close process, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
Oversee billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition processes to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
Ensure adherence to U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies, while maintaining strong internal controls.
Partner with the Accounting team to streamline processes and resolve complex accounting issues.
Deliver clear, concise, and insightful financial reports tailored for non-financial stakeholders.
Establish KPIs and performance dashboards that provide forward-looking insights.
Track and communicate business performance against financial targets.
Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Sales, HR, etc.) to align financial plans with operational priorities.
Support leaders in decision-making by presenting financial implications in an accessible way.
Challenge assumptions and promote accountability across the business.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and financial reporting standards.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve financial visibility, and enhance efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement within finance and across partner functions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred)
3–6 years of progressive accounting/finance experience or 2–4 years of Public Accounting or investment banking experience FP&A, or finance business partnering roles, ideally with exposure to both management accounting and external reporting
Strong ability to bridge the gap between accounting detail and business insights.
Proven track record managing financial close and reporting cycles end-to-end
Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex financial information for non-financial stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders, drive accountability, and act as a trusted advisor
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Experience with ERP implementation or system integrations (preferred)
External audit experience (preferred)
Background in high-growth or multi-entity environments (preferred)
Experience with finance automation or system implementation projects (preferred)
