About the role
- Support the existing Business Development Manager in managing defense and aerospace key accounts
- Develop new opportunities and create plans with direct customers, system integrators and distributors across the DACH & CEE regions
- Translate complex technical requirements into innovative, tailored solutions with support from engineering teams
- Work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure successful project execution
- Collaborate with the marketing department to define product development strategy
- Attend trade shows and major events in the DACH & CEE regions
Requirements
- Technical higher education (engineering degree or equivalent) in Aerospace, Naval, Defense Technology or a related field
- 3 years or more of experience selling industrial technical solutions or in business development within the defense/aerospace/naval sectors
- Proficient with CRM tools to track opportunities and customer relationships
- Good knowledge of office applications (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
- Fluency in English required
- German and/or French is a plus
- Ability to adapt your communication to varied interlocutors: engineers, buyers, etc.
- Driven by challenges, autonomous, team-oriented and technically curious
- Availability for travel within the DACH & CEE regions
