About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide nursing support to students in school
- Provide 1-1 care for a medically fragile and/or diabetic student throughout the school day
- Assist with safe transfers, including on and off the school bus
- Potentially support transportation needs and bus riding
- Monitor student health status and respond to medical needs
- Collaborate with school staff and family to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans
- Support student access to school throughout the day
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active Washington State LPN license (DOH) or Compact Multi-State Nursing License
- Experience with trach care required
- G-tube experience required
- Current car registration
- Passport or Enhanced Driver's License
- Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check
- Reliable, attentive, and comfortable in a pediatric setting
- Pediatric experience strongly preferred
