About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide school-based evaluations, direct treatment, and progress monitoring for students with a pediatric caseload
- Supervise an onsite Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Write and maintain IEPs, therapy plans, progress notes, and required documentation
- Attend and contribute to IEP and multidisciplinary special education team meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support student success
- Work in-person with students to support mobility, function, and participation at school
Requirements
What you’ll need- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in South Carolina, or licensed in another state and willing to obtain SC licensure ASAP
- Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- School-based experience preferred, not required
- Availability for 37.5–40 hours per week during the 2026–2027 school year
