About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide school-based evaluations, direct treatment, and progress monitoring for students with a pediatric caseload
  • Supervise an onsite Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
  • Write and maintain IEPs, therapy plans, progress notes, and required documentation
  • Attend and contribute to IEP and multidisciplinary special education team meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support student success
  • Work in-person with students to support mobility, function, and participation at school

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in South Carolina, or licensed in another state and willing to obtain SC licensure ASAP
  • Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • School-based experience preferred, not required
  • Availability for 37.5–40 hours per week during the 2026–2027 school year
