About the role

  • Define architecture and deploy a Delta Lake platform for real estate market data at aMORA
  • Implement systems for scalable consumption of various existing data sources: CSV files, APIs, and partner feeds
  • Expose data in layered models (e.g., DMBOK)

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years working in data engineering
  • At least 2 years of experience with Python and SQL (ANSI)
  • At least 1 year of experience with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • At least 1 year of experience with Airflow or equivalent orchestration tools
  • Experience with CI/CD: GitHub Actions or equivalent
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban) using Jira or equivalent tools
  • Nice-to-haves: entrepreneurial experience; experience with Big Data platforms such as Delta Lake, Iceberg, or Hudi; knowledge of Scala; familiarity with AWS services (Athena & Glue); Infrastructure as Code with Terraform; understanding of Clean Code principles, SOLID, and Design Patterns.
