About the role
- Prepare letters of employment and leave of absence (LOA) letters.
- Assist with preparation of T2200 forms.
- Assist with work permit tracking for compliance purposes.
- Upload employment agreements and related documents into Workday.
- Support the onboarding team with Canadian new hire verifications.
- Update and maintain the benefits portal.
- Assist with processing terminations in Workday and other administrative tasks related to offboarding.
- Organize and tidy up HR SharePoint site for better accessibility.
- Perform other ad hoc HR administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or newly graduated from a post-secondary program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stay focused working on highly repetitive tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to be flexible as well as work independently.
- Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., Workday) and SharePoint is an asset.
