About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as project managers and emerging firm leaders for Aminad’s Defense Strategy practice.
Lead project teams in collaboration with Aminad Engagement Managers and clients.
Understand client needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
Lead teams implementing client strategies for Federal clients.
Own aspects of client problems and manage day-to-day project-team activities.
Mentor business analysts and consultants.
Lead teams across the strategy consulting lifecycle to ensure client satisfaction.
Manage project cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Coach team members and provide regular project-based feedback.
Oversee delivery quality by Aminad staff and subcontractors.
Build, manage, and maintain qualified and motivated teams supporting customer requirements.
Help lead hypothesis development and guide required analyses.
Derive business insights from complex analyses.
Recommend actionable work-stream solutions and contribute to broader case recommendations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Authorized US Citizen.
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, social science or related field; BA/BS with strong academic background.
5+ years' experience in a Federal consulting environment or top commercial consulting firm.
2+ years of experience.
Prior experience supporting Department of Defense programs.
Experience developing and implementing Supply Chain strategy.
Previous experience supporting proposal efforts and/or organic business development and capture activities.
Strong understanding of the Federal Acquisition process.
Understanding of the requirements, environmental factors, organizations, activities, constraints, risks, and motivations impacting Federal clients.
Extensive consulting experience managing engagements and relationships across multiple clients.
Demonstrated effectiveness applying program management practices across all phases of projects from inception through completion.
Strong creative problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Deep emotional intelligence and ability to collaborate internally and externally.
