About the role
- Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost reduction and service improvement.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel (including Power Query, PivotTables, VBA) and BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Build predictive models and simulations to support demand forecasting, inventory optimisation, and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Finance) to align supply chain strategies with business goals.
- Support S&OP processes by providing data-driven insights and scenario modelling.
- Automate data workflows and reporting using Python, SQL, or R where applicable.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics, and present findings to senior leadership.
- Evaluate and implement supply chain technologies and digital tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field.
- Strong experience in supply chain analytics or related roles, ideally within life sciences, biotech, or FMCG.
- Proven experience in using Excel for complex data analysis and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SAP, Oracle).
- Working knowledge of Python, SQL, or R for data manipulation and automation.
- Strong understanding of supply chain planning concepts, inventory management, and logistics.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
