About the role
- Responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll accounting
- Work closely with a three-person team
- Close collaboration with tax advisors
- Perform financial analyses and prepare reports
- Point of contact for external auditors and authorities
- Optimize accounting and financial processes
- Lead the accounting and payroll team
Requirements
- Degree in business administration or qualification as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter)
- Several years of professional experience in accounting and payroll
- Experience in implementing or using controlling/management accounting tools
- Ideally leadership experience or motivation to lead a small team
- Confident use of accounting software, ideally Sage 100 Accounting and Sage HR
- Familiarity with payment processing tools such as sFirm
