About the role
- Responsibility for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll accounting
- Ensuring the accuracy of accounting in cooperation with the tax advisor
- Management and oversight of payroll and salary processing
- Implementation and further development of modern controlling tools
- Preparation of analyses, forecasts and reports for strategic decision-making
- Point of contact for auditors, tax advisors and authorities
- Optimization of accounting processes
- Operational and disciplinary leadership of the accounting team
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration or qualification as a Certified Balance Sheet Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter)
- Several years of professional experience in accounting and payroll
- Experience in implementing or using controlling tools
- Ideally leadership experience or the motivation to lead a small team
- Confident use of accounting software, ideally Sage 100 Accounting and Sage HR
- Familiarity with payment processing tools such as sFirm (Sparkasse)
- Analytical thinking, initiative, hands-on mentality and team orientation
