About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- This role is responsible for creating, delivering, and evaluating learning programs.
- Develops training materials, works with subject matter experts, and facilitates high-quality learning experiences for teammates across the bank.
- Drives and takes ownership for curriculum projects from start to finish to improve teammate performance and engagement.
- Designs and develops program materials in alignment with adult learning principles.
- Collaborates with subject matter experts to develop course content.
- Applies quality assurance standards across curriculum for consistency and learning effectiveness.
- Evaluates program effectiveness on a continuing basis.
- Maintains project documentation and course folders.
- Designs, develops, and facilitates training courses which may include on-demand, classroom, or live virtual formats.
- Writes scripts, records narration, and creates slides/eLearning.
- Creates job aids, participant guides, coaching tools, etc.
- Provides exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.
- Provides guidance and directs support to departments / teammates.
- Advises on content and approach to targeted learning needs.
- Advises on team learning needs for intact teams or departments.
- Supports career enrichment through talent discussions.
- Completes other work as needed across all L&D functions, such as Learning Management System (LMS) administration, class coordination, data analyses, and ad hoc projects.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum four (4) years of Learning and Development, Education, or Organizational Development experience.
- Data analytics and experience with assessment instruments.
- Knowledge of six sigma or continuous improvement/quality assurance discipline.
- Experience with technology tools for online learning.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Application of adult learning principles, and instructional design theories, practice and methods.
- Problem-solving abilities and able to perform complex analyses and make sound decisions.
- Experience designing and developing blended learning solutions utilizing the ADDIE model.
- Highly proficient verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent teaching, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Valid US driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle to travel for off-site training/meetings.
