About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assess and identify appropriate interactive eLearning solutions to support financial crimes compliance content delivery, optimized for virtual and online delivery.
  • Utilize creative skills and internal and external tools to produce innovative multimedia solutions, including modules, courses, videos, training exercises, and attestations.
  • Design, develop, and implement content to produce measurable learning outcomes.
  • Ensure scalability and sustainability of eLearning solutions.
  • Develop and maintain instructional design and instructional media skills and knowledge.
  • Support execution of training design components of the GFCC Training Global Standard.
  • Pivot between varied content creation workflows.
  • Partner with subject matter experts throughout discovery and design phases to develop learning solutions.
  • Work with key stakeholders to scope projects and deliver them in a timely manner.
  • Raise awareness of training content design issues and propose solutions.
  • Serve as a resource for GFCC colleagues and partners by supporting continued learning, providing feedback, and optimizing training efficiency solutions.
  • Help gather materials for audit and exam training-related requests.
  • Ensure training deliverables adhere to legal and regulatory standards and the GFCC TPS training framework.
  • Collaborate and align with TPS members on these and other TPS-driven tasks.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Expertise in industry-standard eLearning development software, such as Adobe Captivate or Articulate Storyline.
  • Working knowledge of graphics and multimedia software, such as the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of programs (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier, etc.).
  • 3+ years of multimedia design and graphics, training and development, or adult learning experience.
  • Ability to produce high quality educational videos and eLearning modules using modern design principles.
  • Understanding and enthusiasm for learning management system (LMS) functionality.
  • Portfolio that exhibits a high standard of design and artistry.
  • Keen attention to detail, proven analytical and problem-solving skills, and effective collaboration and communication skills, including working with multiple stakeholders on a single project.
  • Comfortable working in an environment that is constantly evolving and responds positively to complexity and change.
  • High level of professionalism, self-motivation, flexibility, and sense of urgency.
  • Team player with superior people skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • BA/BS degree in related field preferred.
  • Experience in financial crimes compliance, general compliance, AML, sanctions, Know Your Customer processes, Anti-Bribery and Corruption processes, law enforcement, audit, and/or legal preferred.
  • Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
