About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify the right artifacts based on project needs and timeline
- Deliver high-quality wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity specifications
- Set the vision for the user experience
- Develop understanding and empathy for users through user-centered methodologies, external analysis, research, and data
- Present design decisions and design strategy to peers, partners, and cross-functional leadership
- Improve design processes and workflows across the broader design organization
- Contribute to and improve design systems and UX patterns
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, design leads, and other cross-functional partners to define requirements and deliver projects
- Engage with designers to exchange ideas, share skills, and provide mentorship
- Mentor associate designers and peers; may have direct reports
- Leverage design tools to deliver artifacts, drive collaboration, and improve broader design-team workflow
- Create and maintain UI/UX resources such as content templates, samples, and guidelines
- Analyze user research, business insights, and other data to continuously improve customer experiences
- Review proposed product changes or enhancements for compliance with user-experience and satisfaction standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in or with a product design organization
- Expert knowledge of Figma
- Deep understanding of user-centered design methodologies, research, and processes
- Ability to share solutions and strategy to problem-solving initiatives in an engaging way
- Proactive and energetic communicator with attention to detail
- Background verification check required as a condition of employment
- Bachelor's Degree (listed as the study level)
- Preferred: 8–10 years of experience in product design, preferably within a mature product organisation
- Preferred: Proven experience leading and mentoring a small team of designers
- Preferred: Experience designing complex enterprise tools and workflows for internal users
- Preferred: Excellent communication, articulation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders
