About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify the right artifacts based on project needs and timeline
  • Deliver high-quality wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity specifications
  • Set the vision for the user experience
  • Develop understanding and empathy for users through user-centered methodologies, external analysis, research, and data
  • Present design decisions and design strategy to peers, partners, and cross-functional leadership
  • Improve design processes and workflows across the broader design organization
  • Contribute to and improve design systems and UX patterns
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, design leads, and other cross-functional partners to define requirements and deliver projects
  • Engage with designers to exchange ideas, share skills, and provide mentorship
  • Mentor associate designers and peers; may have direct reports
  • Leverage design tools to deliver artifacts, drive collaboration, and improve broader design-team workflow
  • Create and maintain UI/UX resources such as content templates, samples, and guidelines
  • Analyze user research, business insights, and other data to continuously improve customer experiences
  • Review proposed product changes or enhancements for compliance with user-experience and satisfaction standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in or with a product design organization
  • Expert knowledge of Figma
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design methodologies, research, and processes
  • Ability to share solutions and strategy to problem-solving initiatives in an engaging way
  • Proactive and energetic communicator with attention to detail
  • Background verification check required as a condition of employment
  • Bachelor's Degree (listed as the study level)
  • Preferred: 8–10 years of experience in product design, preferably within a mature product organisation
  • Preferred: Proven experience leading and mentoring a small team of designers
  • Preferred: Experience designing complex enterprise tools and workflows for internal users
  • Preferred: Excellent communication, articulation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders
