About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop business cases for new products, features and customer experiences
- Analyze customer feedback, market trends, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and inform product strategy
- Synthesize data, analytics, and financial insights to develop recommendations
- Support product management processes, including maintaining product backlogs, prioritizing features, and documenting key product and operational processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Finance, Technology, Legal, Compliance and other stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program
- Bachelor’s degree candidate with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
- Demonstrated interest in commercial payments, digital products, and product management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to distill complex concepts into clear insights and recommendations
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn about payments and emerging technologies
- Ability to collaborate with leaders, colleagues across time zones, and cross-functional partners
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated resilience and proactive mindset
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot
- Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States; the company will not pursue visa sponsorship
