About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define a clear and innovative product vision, create and execute product roadmaps, and communicate with stakeholders
- Support development of next-generation software products and solutions for risk management using current tools and technologies
- Collaborate with risk strategy partners, technology teams, and product teams to build and iterate products impacting millions of customers and prospects
- Manage implementation of risk products, including reusable and configurable design, prioritization, feature development, testing, integration, and launch using low-code tools
- Coordinate cross-functional calls to define product features, user stories, and business requirements
- Host daily stand-up meetings with technology partners and resolve development issues
- Analyze product performance data and make data-driven decisions
- Participate in meetings and planning sessions, build relationships, and gather cross-functional insights
- Create presentations, product requirement documentation, and leadership status updates
- Share insights, gather feedback, and provide recommendations through presentations or reports
- Identify and design reusable/global components within the risk product ecosystem
- Discover current-state product inefficiencies and create solutions to address pain points
- Analyze end-to-end product delivery processes, optimize operating models, and create best-practice documentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor's degree program
- Bachelor's degree candidate with expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028
- Demonstrated interest in digital technologies and customer-driven design
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills
- Proficient in analytical and presentation tools, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States required; no visa sponsorship will be pursued
