About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage all technical and logistical aspects of live ADEA eLearn webinars, as directed by VP, eLearn.
  • Speaker correspondence and management.
  • Registration build and management in the LMS.
  • Moderation and production of live events.
  • Post-production editing and assessments.
  • Collaborate with other ADEA staff members.
  • Support the work of the ADEA Continuing Education Advisory Committee (CEAC).
  • Collaborate with the Director, Leadership Programs and Manager, Learning Analytics.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional education and experience required.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience, including project and program management.
  • Prior experience working in an academic, association or a non-profit environment is strongly preferred.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), PDF, Qualtrics, and webinar/meeting software such as Zoom/Teams.
  • Ability to learn new technologies as needed.
  • Strong knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and LMS website management.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and complete compliance records.
  • Must possess excellent judgment, exceptional organizational skills, and professional discretion with information.
  • Attention to detail, deadline orientation and flexibility required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be self-motivated, confident, proactive and comfortable working independently.
  • Poise, tact, and diplomacy, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work successfully in a diverse team environment and collaborate effectively with others.
  • The capacity to handle multiple tasks and the ability to remain positive and productive in demanding situations.
  • Ability to travel to member meetings to support ADEA events as needed, including some weekends.
