About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

oversee, maintain, and secure core IT infrastructure
manage both on-premises and Cloud environments
ensure server and network reliability across LAN/WAN systems
administer essential directory services and operational applications to support daily business operations
create, follow, maintain, and enforce IT policies and procedures
deploy, configure, and maintain a variety of Operating Systems and Software applications including Windows Servers and Lunix
maintain basic AWS infrastructure components (EC2 instances, S3 storage, Security Groups, IAM permissions)
administer the Microsoft 365 environment, overseeing license, Exchange online, SharePoint, Teams, and basic security and compliance settings
administer Active Directory, GPO, User accounts, permission, and access control
support, patch, and troubleshoot business applications across diverse environments
develop and administer disaster recovery plans including local and cloud backup solutions
act as an escalation point for helpdesk technicians
develop and maintain a change control process to manage project scope and complexity
track and report projects progress by establishing well-defined milestones

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of related experience in systems administration covering Windows, Linux, and cloud or hybrid-cloud environments
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience
Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux servers
Basic knowledge and hands-on experience administering AWS infrastructure and/or Microsoft 365 suites
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, basic LAN/WAN concepts, and core protocols (DNS, DHCP)
Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD) identity and access management
Advanced networking and security analysis skills
Experience with Cisco routing, switching, and security products
Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Experience with Cloud infrastructure on AWS Cloud and Microsoft 365.
