About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- oversee, maintain, and secure core IT infrastructure
- manage both on-premises and Cloud environments
- ensure server and network reliability across LAN/WAN systems
- administer essential directory services and operational applications to support daily business operations
- create, follow, maintain, and enforce IT policies and procedures
- deploy, configure, and maintain a variety of Operating Systems and Software applications including Windows Servers and Lunix
- maintain basic AWS infrastructure components (EC2 instances, S3 storage, Security Groups, IAM permissions)
- administer the Microsoft 365 environment, overseeing license, Exchange online, SharePoint, Teams, and basic security and compliance settings
- administer Active Directory, GPO, User accounts, permission, and access control
- support, patch, and troubleshoot business applications across diverse environments
- develop and administer disaster recovery plans including local and cloud backup solutions
- act as an escalation point for helpdesk technicians
- develop and maintain a change control process to manage project scope and complexity
- track and report projects progress by establishing well-defined milestones
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of related experience in systems administration covering Windows, Linux, and cloud or hybrid-cloud environments
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux servers
- Basic knowledge and hands-on experience administering AWS infrastructure and/or Microsoft 365 suites
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, basic LAN/WAN concepts, and core protocols (DNS, DHCP)
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD) identity and access management
- Advanced networking and security analysis skills
- Experience with Cisco routing, switching, and security products
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Cloud infrastructure on AWS Cloud and Microsoft 365.
