About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • oversee, maintain, and secure core IT infrastructure
  • manage both on-premises and Cloud environments
  • ensure server and network reliability across LAN/WAN systems
  • administer essential directory services and operational applications to support daily business operations
  • create, follow, maintain, and enforce IT policies and procedures
  • deploy, configure, and maintain a variety of Operating Systems and Software applications including Windows Servers and Lunix
  • maintain basic AWS infrastructure components (EC2 instances, S3 storage, Security Groups, IAM permissions)
  • administer the Microsoft 365 environment, overseeing license, Exchange online, SharePoint, Teams, and basic security and compliance settings
  • administer Active Directory, GPO, User accounts, permission, and access control
  • support, patch, and troubleshoot business applications across diverse environments
  • develop and administer disaster recovery plans including local and cloud backup solutions
  • act as an escalation point for helpdesk technicians
  • develop and maintain a change control process to manage project scope and complexity
  • track and report projects progress by establishing well-defined milestones

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of related experience in systems administration covering Windows, Linux, and cloud or hybrid-cloud environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux servers
  • Basic knowledge and hands-on experience administering AWS infrastructure and/or Microsoft 365 suites
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, basic LAN/WAN concepts, and core protocols (DNS, DHCP)
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD) identity and access management
  • Advanced networking and security analysis skills
  • Experience with Cisco routing, switching, and security products
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Cloud infrastructure on AWS Cloud and Microsoft 365.
