About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee, maintain, and secure core IT infrastructure
- Manage both on-premises and Cloud environments
- Ensure server and network reliability across LAN/WAN systems
- Administer essential directory services and operational applications
- Create, follow, maintain, and enforce IT policies and procedures
- Maintain skills to keep pace with changes in industry
- Deploy, configure, and maintain a variety of Operating Systems and Software applications including Windows Servers and Linux
- Maintain AWS infrastructure components and manage hybrid cloud connectivity
- Administer Microsoft 365 environment
- Administer Active Directory, GPO, User accounts, permission, and access control
- Support, patch and troubleshoot business applications
- Maintain Core Network service including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP configurations
- Develop and administer disaster recovery plans
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of related experience in systems administration covering Windows, Linux, and cloud or hybrid-cloud environments
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux servers
- Basic knowledge and hands-on experience administering AWS infrastructure and/or Microsoft 365 suites
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, basic LAN/WAN concepts, and core protocols (DNS, DHCP)
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD) identity and access management
- Advanced networking and security analysis skills
- Experience with Cisco routing, switching, and security products
