About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee, maintain, and secure core IT infrastructure
Manage both on-premises and Cloud environments
Ensure server and network reliability across LAN/WAN systems
Administer essential directory services and operational applications
Create, follow, maintain, and enforce IT policies and procedures
Maintain skills to keep pace with changes in industry
Deploy, configure, and maintain a variety of Operating Systems and Software applications including Windows Servers and Linux
Maintain AWS infrastructure components and manage hybrid cloud connectivity
Administer Microsoft 365 environment
Administer Active Directory, GPO, User accounts, permission, and access control
Support, patch and troubleshoot business applications
Maintain Core Network service including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP configurations
Develop and administer disaster recovery plans

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of related experience in systems administration covering Windows, Linux, and cloud or hybrid-cloud environments
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience
Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux servers
Basic knowledge and hands-on experience administering AWS infrastructure and/or Microsoft 365 suites
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, basic LAN/WAN concepts, and core protocols (DNS, DHCP)
Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD) identity and access management
Advanced networking and security analysis skills
Experience with Cisco routing, switching, and security products
