About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and support electrical engineering design for refinery and industrial facility projects
- Design electrical systems and develop one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and electrical construction packages
- Perform load calculations, voltage drop calculations, cable sizing, conduit sizing, grounding design, and lighting calculations
- Conduct power system studies including Arc Flash Analysis, Short Circuit Studies, Protective Device Coordination
- Prepare electrical equipment specifications and develop scopes of work and technical documentation
- Respond to RFIs during construction and support commissioning, startup, and refinery turnaround activities
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and maintain project budgets and schedules
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 8–10+ years of electrical engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) License Required
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemical, Chemical Processing, or Heavy Industrial Facilities
- Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, NFPA, API Standards
- Proficiency in ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite
