About the role
- Design and specification of instrumentation and control (I&C) components and control systems
- Design and expansion of I&C infrastructure in process plants
- Project management for modification and optimization projects in the I&C field
- Work with P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation) diagrams and preparation and maintenance of documentation
- Ensure plant availability through close collaboration between maintenance and operations
Requirements
- Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or completed electrical vocational training; alternatively qualification as a technician or master craftsman in Electrical Engineering
- Several years of professional experience in I&C/EMSR or electrical engineering, ideally as an I&C planner
- Knowledge of automation and electrical engineering products and systems, and of electrical power supply and distribution
- Good knowledge of relevant standards and regulations and a strong sense of responsibility for technical and safety-related matters
- Strong safety awareness, excellent communication skills, a structured and independent working style, and initiative
