About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare and file submissions with the regulatory authority (BMP - Standardized Monthly Trial Balance, RIT - Quarterly Information Report, and PAC - Annual Accounts Submission) and participate in the preparation of SPED Contábil (Public System of Digital Accounting Records) to comply with applicable legislation.
  • Prepare financial statements and related disclosures (balance sheet, income statement (DRE), statement of changes in equity (DMPL), cash flow statement (DFC), statement of value added (DVA), schedules and notes to the financial statements).
  • Perform monthly trial balance closing and deliver to the tax department for tax calculation.
  • Support external audits, meeting deadlines and providing necessary clarifications.
  • Analyze balance sheet accounts (bank accounts, loans, finance leases, investments, debentures, fixed assets, payroll and related charges, and other asset and liability accounts) to resolve outstanding issues and ensure confidence in reported results; reconcile recoverable taxes and apply adjustments based on the SELIC rate; reconcile financial income and expenses.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Active CRC registration (Brazilian Regional Accounting Council).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; advanced Excel and/or Power BI is a plus.
  • Technical knowledge specific to the field (IFRS, SPED, CPC).
