About the role
- Employ initiative and strong oral and written communication skills to deliver technical client solutions under supervision
- Perform a range of varied work activities in structured environments
- Learn a variety of data and analytics platforms; develop a strong foundation in Cloud platforms, Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence and Analytics design, tools, processes and implementation approaches
- Work under routine direction and manage time and schedules according to deadlines
- Assist in developing and implementing data pipelines and data stores
- Actively contribute to project delivery
- Gather user/business requirements
- Data modelling and database design
- Design and develop reports, dashboards, data visualisations and insights
- Analyse data from multiple and varied sources
- Plan and execute unit and system testing
- Support UAT and provide post production support
- Use initiative to solve problems and seek guidance when needed
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in IT-related subject, or relevant work experience
- 1+ years relevant industry experience in a client-facing role
- Demonstratable experience with databases and solution design/development
- Demonstratable experience in development of Business Intelligence/ Reporting/Analytics Solutions
- Demonstratable experience with contemporary programming languages/tools including experience with SQL
- Strong oral and written communication skills
