About the role

  • Within the development team, you will take part in securing land for future wind farm projects, under the supervision of your apprenticeship tutor.
  • Support the design of new wind projects by assisting with prospecting and securing the land required for their development;
  • Meet landowners, visit potential sites and attend local meetings alongside a land officer;
  • Identify landowners and agricultural operators using cadastral maps and databases;
  • Communicate with landowners and organize initial contacts: send letters, schedule appointments and take part in on-site interviews.
  • Once trained, independently manage simple files (option/promise agreements, leases or preliminary agreements);
  • Update monitoring tools: archiving, scanning contracts, updating land maps;
  • Occasionally participate in public meetings or municipal council sessions alongside project managers to present project progress.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (technical, environmental, legal, etc.) to ensure a coherent project approach.

Requirements

  • You are enrolled in a higher education program on a work-study basis in commerce, environment, geography, law, renewable energy or real estate development.
  • You are interested in the energy transition and want to learn the roles of land prospector and wind project developer;
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working with people;
  • You are rigorous, organized and curious;
  • You are comfortable speaking and writing, and proficient with basic IT tools (Microsoft Office).
  • Driver’s license (category B) required.
