About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, manage, and validate aircraft, system and component-level requirements, ensuring bidirectional traceability and alignment with regulatory and certification needs
Apply SAE ARP4754A and ARP4761 processes to support safety assessments (FHA, FTA, FMEA) and certification planning under Part 23/27/33
Author, execute, and maintain verification plans, procedures, and test reports, coordinating lab, integration, and system-level tests for systems like vibrations, airframe, fuselage, interiors, environmental control systems, and electric engines
Perform system behavior modeling and support test automation and data analysis to ensure compliance with certification schedules

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering, or a related field, or relevant technical military background with equivalent experience
10+ years of experience on Part 23 or 27 aircraft or rotorcraft programs
Strong working knowledge of: SAE ARP4754A, ARP4761, FAA Order 8110.4C RTCA DO-160G, DO-331, DO-178C
Experience with ARP4754A-based verification and requirements-based testing and traceability audits
Proficiency with ALM and verification tools (Polarion, JIRA, Confluence)
Experience with solid modeling tools (Onshape, SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent)
Comfortable working in a cross-functional, certification-focused environment
