About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the design, manufacture, and verification of spaceflight hardware
  • Ensure high-quality standards are met across mechanisms and structural parts
  • Participate in technical reviews, assess risks, and work with suppliers throughout the hardware lifecycle
  • Establish and maintain PA/QA requirements for mechanisms and structural components
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and technical boards for non-conformances and anomalies
  • Support materials, mechanical parts, and process selection, including verification and contamination control
  • Inspect hardware at various stages (incoming, pre-test, post-test)
  • Work with suppliers to ensure requirements are met and resolve non-conformances
  • Maintain quality management systems and supporting documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Mandatory space industry experience
  • 5+ years of experience in PA/QA for regulated manufacturing, preferably spaceflight
  • Knowledge of materials, mechanical parts, and space hardware processes
  • Experience in testing, verification, and reporting
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience
