About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the design, manufacture, and verification of spaceflight hardware
Ensure high-quality standards are met across mechanisms and structural parts
Participate in technical reviews, assess risks, and work with suppliers throughout the hardware lifecycle
Establish and maintain PA/QA requirements for mechanisms and structural components
Support materials, mechanical parts, and process selection, including verification and contamination control
Inspect hardware at various stages (incoming, pre-test, post-test)
Work with suppliers to ensure requirements are met and resolve non-conformances
Maintain quality management systems and supporting documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Mandatory space industry experience
5+ years of experience in PA/QA for regulated manufacturing, preferably spaceflight
Knowledge of materials, mechanical parts, and space hardware processes
Experience in testing, verification, and reporting
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience
Strong documentation and quality management skills
Supplier management experience
Knowledge of spacecraft integration and assembly is advantageous
