About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop data ingestion, processing, and modeling pipelines using DBT
Optimize SQL queries on BigQuery to ensure data performance and reliability
Model the semantic layer with Looker/LookML to enable business users to leverage the data
Automate workflows using GitLab CI/CD and Docker Compose
Collaborate in an Agile (Scrum) environment with technical and business teams to deliver high-value data solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree from an engineering school or a Master’s degree (MSc) in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
3–7 years’ experience in Data Engineering, with proven expertise in DBT and advanced SQL
Proficiency in DBT for data transformation and orchestration
Proven experience with BigQuery and advanced SQL
Experience with Looker/LookML for data modeling
Familiarity with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and DevOps tools (CI/CD, Docker)
Analytical mindset and ability to propose appropriate solutions
Strong discipline in meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards
Team player with a collaborative approach and commitment to knowledge sharing
Technical curiosity and an appetite for innovation
Professional proficiency in French (written and spoken)
