Functional Test and Acceptance Engineer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze functional requirements
- Write and enhance acceptance test scenarios to validate the solution
- Execute tests (UAT) and manage defects by creating issue reports in JIRA
- Provide operational support after each deployment
- Manage issues for users (risks and critical points)
- Facilitate (in English) operational rituals/stand-ups
- Draft and update training materials for each deployment wave or version upgrade
- Drive change adoption among user teams through internal training sessions
- Maintain associated documentation (operating procedures, training exercises)
- Conduct training sessions and provide user support, linking back to users' initial needs for knowledge capture
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science or equivalent with initial experience in functional analysis or software testing
- General knowledge of IT environments
- Knowledge of general operational support and acceptance testing principles for an information system
- Planning and schedule management
- Facilitation skills and a proactive, solution-oriented attitude
- Strong synthesis and writing skills
- Analytical skills
- Responsiveness
- Fluent English
- Proficient in Excel
- General knowledge of Supply Chain
- Knowledge of bug tracking tools (JIRA, Mantis, etc.)
- Knowledge of business and marketing
- Knowledge of the main principles of automotive distribution
- ISTQB certification desirable
